After waiting for long, The Irish House is finally here. Newly opened in Nitesh Hub, Koregaon Park, Pune it looks pleasing at the first sight and of course it surely met my expectations!
The award-winning brand is known for its energetic vibe, friendly service and a great offering. Recognized ever since its inception with the first outpost being awarded the “Noteworthy Newcomer”, The Irish House recently won the “Best Restro Bar” in the Times Nightlife Awards for the 2nd time in a row and the “Best Pub” in the Zomato Users’ Choice Awards. Their ambience is extremely impressive with nice seating arrangement. The music was good and there was nothing to complaint about.
Talking about the food, they have a lot to offer and below are the dishes we tried there:
I started with Classic falafel Pita Pockets were really delicious. They were made up of crispy falafel, classic hummus and tahini mayo, topped with shredded red cabbage.
The second appetizer i had was jalapeno and corn cheese fritters, one of my favourite food items. The fritters were served with a chilli jam dip.
Then i had Good Ol’ Mac N Cheese, a bowl filled with house fries topped with classic cheesy macaroni & Cheddar and jalapenos, it was a drooling dish. The liquid classic cheese made it more delightful. Though I expected a cheese pull?
Spicy Sweet Corn Pizza was simply delectable, which was served with the topping of roasted american corns and spicy jalapenos.
The melting pot, it was just fabulous and unique dish, which i had tried for the first time and i loved it. The dish had mushrooms, roasted potatoes, tomatoes, toasted foccacia croutons and fresh foccacia bites served with jalapeno spicked three cheese sause.
In mocktails i tried Melon Brainfreeze, it is a drink which contains watermelon juice, cranberry juice, fresh lime and crushed ice and it was really a refreshing one.
Another was Tangerine Mojito which was made up of orange juice, fresh lime and mint.
In desserts, i tried the Irish River Dance which was served in beer mug and which was loaded with brownie, vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate bites, truffles, cookies, nuts and was served with fresh beer and it was simply good.
I also tried Devilish Chocolate Brownie which was served with a chocolate brownie and a vanilla ice cream on the top of it and as usual it was fabulous.
